Training - Peak Performance Buoyancy

Ever wondered how other divers stay in control of their buoyancy and make hovering seem so easy?

Good buoyancy control is an essential diving skill and our Peak Performance Buoyancy Course shows you how to make the most out of your diving experience.

Enjoy new found freedom as you stay in control of your dive, use less air and enjoy a seemingly weightless physical state.

The peak performance buoyancy speciality gives you the opportunity to fine tune your in water buoyancy. You will learn to control your buoyancy using breathing techniques, streamlining and visualisation.

The course you will also cover weight distribution and positioning; perfecting skills such as the hover and fin pivot; and give you a chance to try different weighting solutions; so as to hone your buoyancy control. These skills are invaluable to protecting the vulnerable aquatic environment and essential in areas such as underwater photography or videography.

On completion of the course you will be awarded the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Speciality diver award. This can be accredited as one of the five speciality ratings a diver has to attain to achieve the highest non-instructional qualification on the PADI curriculum - Master Scuba Diver.

Course Prerequisite: Open Water Diver (or Junior. Open Water) or equivalent.

The course is available throughout the year and can usually be completed in just one day; but the benefits can last a diving lifetime.
