Cressi Ellipse Balanced MC9SC - £289

1st stage MC9 with Cressi's Seal Chamber System - Hyper-balanced Diaphragm 1st stage with highly technological content that places it at the top of the Cressi range. Very light body covered by a protective elastomer shell. Cylinder sheathed in an antifriction and anticorrosion material that guarantees perfect sliding of the piston and long maintenance intervals. The valve seat nozzle, made from 316 stainless steel, can be easily replaced, thus ensuring perfect air-tightness, even after many years of use. Advanced research on the passage of internal air and a special assistance chamber have enabled the drop of pressure upon inhalation to be kept to a minimum, thus guaranteeing high performance in any situation. Hyper-balancing allows for an increase of the intermediate pressure at maximum depths and lowering of the pressure in the tank, offering higher performance during the delicate ascent phase and at maximum depths. DIN 200/300 bar fitting in stainless steel which prevents deformation of the thread in the event that the regulator suffers any falls. 4 low pressure and 2 high pressure ports.

2nd stage Ellipse Balanced - Many of the exclusive technical characteristics of Ellipse, covered by 4 international patents, have been transferred to this new second stage. It has a slightly larger casing which is made from a sound absorbing material, and a new diaphragm that further improves the already very low inhalation effort of Ellipse. The pneumatic balancing system of the piston allows for constant performance at any depth and with any air pressure in the tanks. An easy grip knob allows for the instant adjustment of the inhalation effort, even when wearing gloves, thus regulating it as first regulator or as spare regulator depending on the preferences of the user and the required use. The regulation system is protected by a double seal and is fully protected from contact with water, thus maintaining smooth rotation even over time. A small lever, located in the upper part of the casing, acts as a flow deviator and allows the Venturi effect to be adjusted. When placed in position (-) it functions as pre-dive, for getting into the water and the first stages of the dive, whilst when moved to (+) it allows the regulator to develop its maximum performance. An internal heat exchanger optimises the performance of the regulator even in cold waters and the weight is very low (the lightest in the category). The special study of air flows inside the casing has meant that an absolutely natural, smooth and very silent breathing has been obtained. The possibility of quickly removing the entire mechanical part from the casing significantly aids maintenance operations.

Cressi Ellipse Black Balanced MC9SC - £269

1st stage MC9 with Cressi's Seal Chamber System - Hyper-balanced Diaphragm 1st stage with highly technological content that places it at the top of the Cressi range. Very light body covered by a protective elastomer shell. Cylinder sheathed in an antifriction and anticorrosion material that guarantees perfect sliding of the piston and long maintenance intervals. 2nd stage Ellipse Balanced Black - Shares many of the exclusive technical characteristics of Ellipse Balanced 2nd Stage; however this model is without the breathing effort adjustment feature.

The pneumatic balancing system allows for constant performance at any depth and with any air pressure in the tanks. It has a venturi effect adjustment lever and features an anti-friction diaphragm.  The special study of air flows inside the casing has meant that an absolutely natural, smooth and very silent breathing has been obtained.  designed for use in cold waters; an internal heat exchanger optimises the performance of the regulator even in cold waters and the weight is very low (the lightest in the category).

Cressi Ellipse Titanium MC9 - £209

1st stage MC9 - Hyper-balanced Diaphragm 1st stage with highly technological content that places it at the top of the Cressi range. Very light body covered by a protective elastomer shell. Cylinder sheathed in an antifriction and anticorrosion material that guarantees perfect sliding of the piston and long maintenance intervals. 2nd stage Ellipse Titanium - Loved by both professional and recreational divers thanks to its excellent performance. The small size, combined with the use of sophisticated techno-polymers and various titanium parts allow the weight to be kept to an exceptional minimum. Technologically the regulator is truly avant-garde, thanks to a series of unprecedented features, covered by a patent, that enhance its performance. Amongst which:

  • The elliptical casing with special fold out opening.

  • Instant cam-lock closure of the casing.

  • The regulator lever with its computer designed profile.

  • The tilting movement of the piston.

  • The insulating anti-freeze between the regulator valve and casing.

  • The possibility of removing the entire regulating system from the body of the 2nd stage, for quick and easy maintenance.

The result of so much technology is a regulator that supplies air smoothly and with unprecedented fluidity. All this with an excellent price/quality ratio.

Cressi Ellipse Black MC5 - £165

1st stage MC5 which was entirely developed by the Cressi Design and Development Centre, is a diaphragm first stage of extremely low weight and size with highly technological content. A hyper-balanced diaphragm first stage; the sliding cylinder of the piston is sheathed with a special self-lubricating polymer which reduces internal friction to a minimum and totally eliminates any possible oxidisation that could alter the performance of the regulator over time. The high performance is further increased by a special assistance chamber that triggers a strong venturi effect between the central diffuser and the intermediate pressure outlets. The hyper-balanced diaphragm mechanism not only maintains the performance of the regulator when the pressure in the tanks varies and depth increases, but even increases performance in the final stage of the dive, notoriously the most critical. The 3 low and 1 high pressure port outlets are pre-oriented for ideal placement of the hoses. The small cylindrical body is completely covered by a protective elastomer shell.

2nd stage Cressi Black with a venturi effect adjustment lever, elliptical casing with special fold out opening and instant cam-lock case closure for simplified servicing.

Cressi Ellipse Octopus - £89.50

The Octopus Ellipse suits all the Cressi first stages perfectly and uses the same casing as the Ellipse model made from special hi-tech polymers, the only difference being the yellow front cover.

The hose is also yellow and is longer (100 cm against the standard 76 cm).

All the parts of Ellipse, most of which are patented, can be found on this regulator: the fold-out opening of the casing, the special folding diaphragm, the computer designed lever, the tilting movement of the piston, the seal between regulator valve and casing, the possibility of extracting the entire valve system from the body of the 2nd stage.

A flow of pilot air is channelled to the mouthpiece by injection, enhancing the performance. The upper part of the body has a flow deviator that acts on the Venturi effect, with dive/pre-dive function.

The performance is extremely high, although the calibration is regulated so that the inhalation effort is slightly greater than on the Ellipse, to help prevent possible free-flows.

Northern Diver Jupiter - £315.00
Jupiter, with its environmentally sealed first stage, is suitable for cold water and more extreme diving. Supplied in a case complete with first & second stage, octopus second stage, first service kit and owner's manual, this offers exceptional convenience and value for money.

As well as enjoying first stage protection for normal diving conditions, the Jupiter is also suitable for dirty water or cold water diving conditions. The Jupiter A Clamp first stage employs an environmental sealing system - an end cap diaphragm seals the ambient chamber from the water.

The Jupiter second stage allows the diver to adjust its sensitivity. By rotating the adjustment control, the valve can work at maximum performance during a dive and can be set to reduced sensitivity for other times when the valve is not being used for breathing, such as surface swimming.

Jupiter is supplied complete with a yellow octopus hose and second stage. Also included is the first service kit, meaning that when the time comes for the regulator's first service you have everything needed for an authorised service agent to carry out the task.

The regulator is supplied in a case. EN250 Cold Water Tested and fully CE approved.
