Dive Magazine Review September 2006
The water was at a relatively low temperature of 15 degrees C during each of my
tests, so I wore all the elements of each suit. The great advantage of the suits
having separate jackets and shorties is that these combinations mean the suits
can be used in a wide range of temperatures, for example, in the Red Sea out of
the summer season, or in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands all year round. I
found that the Semi-Tech was the better choice for temperate waters, because it
is fitted with semi-dry seals at the wrists and ankles and also features an
inner shoulder seal to reduce water entering through the neck. One of the best
things about both suits is the flexible material used to manufacture them - it
makes putting the suit on and taking it off quite easy, holds a good fit when in
use and gives the suits the flexibility of a much thinner suit. This suit should
do well in the temperate wetsuit diving market.
