About the Course
Kent Scuba offers an exhilarating one-hour Try Dive session held at the Ramsgate Swimming Pool, designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of scuba diving and immerse you in the sensation of breathing underwater.
The session commences with a concise orientation covering the equipment you'll utilize, communication techniques, and ear equalization methods. Subsequently, we transition into the pool for the in-water segment.
Once submerged, our expert instructors will guide you through the step-by-step process of managing your gear, mastering breathing techniques, and putting theory into practice. As you grow comfortable, you'll have the freedom to leisurely explore the waters at your own pace, truly savouring the underwater experience.
To participate in our Discover Scuba session, all you need is:
- Reasonable health
- Age over 8 years old
*Participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Colin has been a certified scuba diving instructor for many . He has a passion for teaching and loves nothing more than introducing people to the amazing world of scuba diving. Colin is patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that his students have a great experience.
Julie is an experienced instructor and qualified nurse which gives her the knowledge to help with any medical issue. The kids love her due to her patience and expertise.
