PADI Scuba Diver Course

PADI’s entry level certification.

The PADI Scuba Diver Course will allow you to dive 12m under the ‘direct supervision’ of a dive professional. You will also be able to obtain air fills and other services under a dive professional’s supervision, and should you wish, continue your dive training to achieve the full PADI Open Water Diver rating.

To earn the PADI Scuba Diver certification, you’ll need to:-

  • Complete the first three confined water dives from the PADI Open Water Diver course.
  • Show mastery of the first three knowledge development sessions of the PADI Open Water Diver Manual.
  • Successfully complete the first two open water dives of the PADI Open Water Diver course.

Simply put, earning your PADI Scuba Diver rating is your passport to quickly, safely and easily becoming a ‘supervised diver’. To dive independently, you can continue toward becoming a PADI Open Water Diver.
