Wreck Diver Specialty Course

Our coast is surrounded by thousands of sunken wrecks; you may have heard other divers speaking about the unique adventure that wreck diver can provide; or you may have experienced your first wreck dive during your PADI Advanced Open Water course and be eager to explore more – whatever your reason for considering the Wreck Diver Speciality, this course will provide the knowledge and special skills needed to enjoy the pleasure of wreck diving safely.
Learn safe wreck diving skills and techniques
This course will increase your knowledge of wreck hazards, considerations and how to navigate different types of wrecks. The course consists of four dives.
This course will introduce you to:-
- Wreck planning, organisation, procedures, techniques.
- The problems and hazards of wreck diving.
- Emergency procedures.
- The preparation and use of lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines and reels.
On completion of the course you will be awarded the Wreck Diver Speciality award. This speciality can be accredited as one of the five speciality ratings a diver has to attain to achieve the highest non-instructional qualification on the curriculum – Master Scuba Diver.
Course Prerequisite
Adventure Diver or equivalent.
